LIMITATIONS REGARDING THE BOHR MODEL: A DEEPER LOOK

While groundbreaking for its time, the Bohr model possessed several limitations that ultimately proved to be its overthrow. One primary problem was its inability to completely predict the spectra of multi-electron atoms. The model also failed to account for phenomena like quantumtunneling.
